All our employees and managers are required as part of their employment to accept their obligation to the company, fellow employees and customers to ensure that all operations under their care or control are carried out in a safe and efficient manner. Atlantic Power shall provide and maintain, as far as reasonable practicable, a working environment that is safe and without risk to the health of our employees.
Every employee shall at work:
Take reasonable care for the health and safety of himself/herself and other persons who may be effected by their acts or omissions
Obey the health and safety rules and procedures laid down by Atlantic Power in accordance with the OH & S Act and the ORHVS
If any situation which is unsafe or unhealthy comes to an employees attention, as soon as practicable report such situation to management or to the health and safety representative
